I would like to know more about the origin of the rocks. Were they cut for you by brawny laborers in some Italian quarry? Did you find them in some idyllic stream bed? Did they fall from a cliff in front of your car? Did they appear after some ancient ceremony you performed in the woods? And furthermore, what prompted you to arrange them in that particular manner. Did the rocks instruct you? Were there instructions already imprinted on the rocks? Did you spend time with a rock balancing guru high in the Himalayas? Do tell.

They were taken from a huge pile of rocks that I think were created by roadwork near the Coralville Resevoir.

I drove out with Brandy and we put them in her car and I remember she got mad at me for some reason. Maybe it had something to do with the rocks!

I spent a previous life as a rock balancing guru in the Chin Hills of Myanmar. I expected that I would make it to the Himalayas in my next life but I joined a rock-stackers union and that angered my higher-ups so I was banished to stack rocks in Iowa, a place without mountains and barely even any hills.
